Project Asst. Life Science /Scientist/Project Technician recruitment in ICMR-National Institute of Traditional Medicine
Under the project entitled “Vector Surveillance for ZIKV/JEV in selected high risk areas in India”.
1. Project Asst./1 Post
Essential Qualifications:Graduate in Life Science/relevant subjects from recognized university with three years work experience from recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable Qualification: 1). Experiencing in handling lab techniques related to Molecular Biology and Immunology such as PCR, ELISA etc. 2). Experience in collection and handling of insects especially mosquito vectors.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Government of India norms.
Emoluments: Rs. 31.000/- per month consolidated.
2. Project Technician –I (INSECT COLLECTOR) /4 Posts
Essential Qualifications: High School* or equivalent with one year experience in related field from a Government institution or recognized institution or certificate of one year training in the relevant area. * Intermediate with science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in collection and handling of insects, especially mosquitoes, washing and cleaning of laboratory glassware, autoclaving etc.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 25 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Government of India norms.
Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- per month consolidated.
1. SRF (Chemistry) /1 Post
Under the project entitled “Preclinical evaluation of Safety and Efficacy of the decoction of the plant RMRC-BM IP-156 for Anti-diabetic activity and Characterization of active compound(s)”
Essential Qualifications:1st Class Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from a UGC recognized University with NET qualification with 2 years of Post M.Sc. research experience in relevant field.
Desirable Qualification: Post M.Sc. research experience in Phytochemistry/ Natural Product Chemistry with handling of relevant instruments and analysis of phytoconstituents along with knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India norms. Emoluments: Rs. 33,600/- per month fixed.
Project Technician - III /1 Post
Project entitled :“Tribal Health Research Unit”
Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in (DMLT or PMW) or 12th pass in Science subjects with one year DMLT and one year relevant experience in a recognized organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
Desirable Qualifications: i)Experience in Bio-chemistry and Pathology laboratories. ii) Experience in working on community based programme.
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Emoluments: Rs.18000
1. Scientist ‘C’ (MEDICAL)/ 1 Post (POSTING AT SIRWAR, RAICHUR DIST)
Under the project entitled “Model Rural Health Research Unit, Sirwar, Raichur District, Karnataka”.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience OR MBBS degree with 4 years’ experience in Medical subjects after MBBS Degree.
Desirable Qualification: a) Experience in Public Health/Medicine/Epidemiology. b) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age limit: 40 years
Emoluments: Rs. 60000
