Project Biologist/Project Assistant  job recruitment in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) on Contract basis


Title : ‘Monitoring System for Tigers–Intensive Patrolling and Ecological Status (M-STrIPES)’


Project Biologist/ 03 Post

Qualification : Post graduate degree in Zoology/Life Science/Wildlife Science/Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Desirable Qualifications (DQ) Candidates having field experience in conducting ecological research and monitoring will be given preference. Experience in animal abundance estimation, analytical skills and competency in ecological software is desirable.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25,000

Age : 35 years


Project Assistant (GIS)/ 01  Post

Qualification : Post Graduate in Science/Life Science / Environmental Science/Applied Science/Remote Sensing and GIS/M.A Geography OR Post Graduate/ Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS OR B.Tech in Geo Informatics / Environmental Engineering / Remote Sensing and GIS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.Desirable Qualifications (DQ) Experience in Remote Sensing and GIS, competency in Arc GIS, ERDAS IMAGINE and other Open Source Software (Q GIS etc.) shall be given preference. One year diploma degree on GIS / Remote Sensing / Geo Informatics or a minimum of 1 (one) year experience of working on projects related to GIS and Remote Sensing after B.Tech / Master degree is desirable.

Pay Scale : Rs. 20,000
