Project Biologist/ Project Assistant  job Position in Wildlife Institute of India (WII) on contract basis 

Project Title :   “Assessment and Conservation Practices of Pollinators through Community Participation in the Indian Trans Himalayan Region: Climate Change Perspective”

Project Biologist

No. of Posts :   2

Qualification :   Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Science / Zoology/ Environmental Sciences with minimum of 60% aggregate marks in any of above subjects from a recognized university.

Desirable :  Two years research experience on Entomology, Taxonomy of insects with suitable publications. Field experience on Himalayan region.

Emoluments :  Rs. 24,000 + HRA

Age Limit :   Not exceeding 32 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.

Project Assistant

No. of Posts :   2

Qualification :   Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Science /Zoology /Environmental Sciences with 60% aggregate marks on any of above subjects from a recognized university.

Desirable :  Knowledge of insect taxonomy with field experience.

Emoluments :  Rs. 10,000 + HRA

Age Limit :   Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.

Location of Project site :  Trans Himalayan region (Ladakh in J&K, Lahul & Spiti, in Himachal Pradesh and Gangotri, Malari and Milam areas of Uttarakhand).
