Project Biologist /Project Assistant recruitment in The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun
Project entitled “Management plan preparation and population monitoring of turtles in Mansar- Surinsar Wetland in Jammu and Kashmir, India” purely on contractual basis
Project Biologist
Essential Qualification (EQ) Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Environmental Sciences with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification (DQ) Field Experience in Aquatic habitat assessment/ Wetland Ecology/ Wildlife Research. Experience in writing and analytical skills .
Work description Survey and data collection in and around aquatic habitat during day and night. Data analysis and management plan writing
Duration 10 months 6 Location of Project site Jammu, India
Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Emoluments : Rs.30000+HRA

Essential Qualification (EQ): Graduate degree in Sciences from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification (DQ) Exposed to field research
Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Emoluments: Rs. 12000+HRA
