Project Fellow/JRF Vegetable Science  recruitment in Indian Institute of Horticultural Research on contractual/adhoc basis

 

Project Fellow

Project Title : “Morphogenetic characterization of native virulent Phytophthora isolates inciting vine rot and fruit rot of pointed gourd emerging in Odisha and devising IDM module in participatory mode”

Qualification : MSc (Agri.) in Plant Pathology/ Applied Microbiology/ Plant Biotechnology OR Master Degree with the integrated degree of B.Tech & M.Tech (5 years) or MSc in life science with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: One year experience in Horticulture/ Agriculture related projects and working knowledge in computer.

Remuneration:  Rs 12,000

Age : 35 - 40 years

Project Title :“Marker assisted breeding for combined resistance to major soil borne diseases (bacterial wilt & Phytophthora root rot) and root-knot nematodes in chilli (Capsicum annuum L.).”

Qualification : MSc (Agri.)/ Ph.D (Agri.) in Vegetable Science/ Genetics and Plant breeding/ Plant Biotechnology OR Master Degree in Biotechnology with NET qualification. OR Ph.D in Biotechnology Desirable: Experience in marker assisted breeding vegetable crops
