Project Fellow Life Sciences Jobs recruitment in Zoological Survey of India
Project on: ‘Diversity, distribution and status of freshwater fishes of Jaldhaka River, West Bengal, India’
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Zoology/Life Science/Environmental Science with minimum 55% marks from a recognised University. Desirable: Two years experience in conducting field survey, collections of fish specimens, field photography etc. Candidate having knowledge of computer applications will be given preference.

Stipend: Rs.10,000/- P.M. (Consolidated)
Age Limit: Age shall not be more than 35 years on of the interview
Place of Posting: Kolkata (West Bengal) but need to conduct extensive field survey in the study area.

established on 1st July, 1916 to promote survey, exploration and
research leading to the advancement in our knowledge of various aspects
of exceptionally rich life of the erstwhile British Indian Empire .The
survey has its genesis in the establishment of the Zoological Section of
the Indian Museum at Calcutta in 1875. By gradually strengthening its
staff and expanding its research programme, the Survey has met the
