Fellowship

Rs 18,000/- per month

Essential Qualification

• First division Master’s degree in Physics/Computational Sciences/ Chemical Sciences and Engineering/ Mechanical Sciences and Engineering or related field from recognized University/Institute, with focus on theoretical soft condensed matter physics and fluid dynamics.

• Candidates with Gate/NET/JEST/CUCET qualification or related competitive exam qualification will be preferred.

• The final selection is subject to the candidates’ suitability for the project’s demands.

Desirable Qualification

• Candidates with research/project experience in the field of theoretical fluid mechanics. Soft matter physics. Physical kinetics and molecular dynamics are desirable. Working knowledge of Computational continuum modelling, hydrodynamic stability theory, and theory of partial differential equations (both numerical and analytical) will be preferred. In addition. Programming experience in C/C++/Matlab/Octave/Python/Mathematical/CUDA will be handy. Above points will be a plus for the candidates, but are not mandatory. Candidates with experience in similar fields are also encouraged to apply.
