Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) invites application for the following Project Fellow Zoology positions to work in the different Research Projects
SRF01/2019 /1 Post
Qualification: M.Sc in Zoology / Genetics / Entomology / Molecular biology / Biotechnology/ Biosciences or related areas with minimum two years of research experience in handling and culturing of Drosophila melanogaster.
Desirable: Research experience in handling and culturing of Drosophila melanogaster. Candidates should also have knowledge of Drosophila dissections, genetics and molecular Biology (RNA extraction and qRT-PCR). Ph.D candidates (thesis submitted) with molecular biology and microscopy knowledge are preferred.

Qualification: ME / M.Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace / Biomedical / Materials or related areas of Engineering. Basic degree should be in BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Aerospace / Biomedical / Materials or related areas of Engineering.
Desirable: Candidates with experience in overall mechanical design, specifications and performance for developing products and hardware assemblies are highly preferred.

Desirable: Experience in building power electronics based systems.

Desirable:1. Experience in Geophysical parameter extraction / validation. 2. Programming skills in Python/ R 3. Experience in using Open source RS and GIS software.
