Job Description
Job Title: Project Intern
Description: The Wildlife Institute of India provides a range of technical services to the Central and State Government on matters relating to biodiversity and wildlife conservation. A UNESCO Category 2 Centre on World Natural Heritage Management and Training for the Asia - Pacific Region at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has been recently established to strengthen the implementation of UNESCO’s World Heritage Convention in the AsiaPacific region with particular focus on natural heritage conservation. As a part of its activities, UNESCO C2C, Dehradun invites application for Walk-in/ Skype Interview for engaging Project Intern (one position) communication expert purely on contractual basis for a period of six months.
Essential Qualification (EQ): Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, mass media, political science or related field
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Excellent communication skills (fluent in speaking and writing) in English, Hindi and any other desirable national or foreign language
Description of Job:
- Press releases of important updates of UNESCO C2C activities
- Website maintenance and content development
- Coordinate meetings and workshops with special focus on Writers Festival in February, 2016
- Outreach and awareness related to nature conservation and WHS

Duration: Six Months
Emoluments: 8000/- per month
Age: Not exceeding 25 years as on the date of interview.
