Roles and Responsibilities
- In a large enterprise, the network manager job responsibilities may extend to overseeing multiple networks.
- In addition, he/she may help with developing new network systems as your company grows.
- The network may extend to a local area network (LAN), a wide area network (WAN), and a storage area network (SAN), a virtual LAN (VLAN), as well as the company's intranet
- Managing and maintaining the network & Security , as well as network performance monitoring
- Installing and identifying upgrades to the network
- Network troubleshooting
- Overseeing user access to the network
- Developing a backup/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
- Planning the network infrastructure for new applications
- Training network staff to provide support to end users
- Purchasing and maintaining networking equipment and infrastructure.
