Project linked Geology person Job Opportunity in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) purely on temporary basis
Project: "Archean Greenstone belts in India —tectonics and sedimentation"
Qualifications : Essential: A first class M.Sc. degree in Geology/ Applied Geology or equivalent (minimum of 55% marks or B+ or equivalent grade in previous degree) with sound background in petrology/ geochemistry and/or structural geology, with aptitude for geological field work.
Desirable: UGC-CSIR NET (JRF) qualified; proficiency in use of common applications software for earth sciences.
No. Of Post: 01 Post
Age: 35 years as on 01 October 2018. Usual relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/differently abled candidates.
Pay: 130000/- (Rupees thirty thousand only) to 35000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand only) per month (consolidated) depending on the qualification and experience.
Tenure of appointment: The appointment is initially upto 31 March 2019 which may be extended later/terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds & performance of the candidate.
