Job Description
Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata is inviting applications for the recruitment of one (01) Project linked person on purely temporary basis to work in a project “Brain Network Analysis of Neurological Disorders like Stroke, Epilepsy and Dementia” in the Machine Intelligence Unit of the Institute, Kolkata.

3. Qualifications : Essential: M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Bio-medical Engineering or M.Sc. in Cognitive Science/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Neuroscience/ Physiology/ Psychology or allied background with experience in similar type of work like Complex Network analysis or Brain Sciences and preferably with Ph.D. degree.
4. Pay : Consolidated pay of 28000/- (Rupees twenty eight thousand only) to 40000/- (Rupees forty thousand only) per month, depending on the qualification and experience.
5. Tenure of Appointment : The appointment will be till 31 March 2022 from the date of his/her joining the Institute which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidates.
Age Limit:
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 June 2021, with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates. Age relaxation may be given to outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience
