Age (For Project 1 & 2) : Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 April 2020 with usual relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled and exceptional candidate(s).
Applications are invited for recruitment of two (02) Project linked persons (one for each of) purely on temporary
basis to work on the following projects titled (1) “Investigating Multiple Kernel Approaches for Efficient and Effective
Multi-View Clustering” and (2) “Soccer Analytics using Computer Vision” in the Electronics & Communication Sciences
Unit (ECSU) of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
Qualifications : Essential For Project 1: (i) M. Tech./ M. E. in CSE/ECE (or equivalent) having
strong experience in programming with R/Python and having at least one full
course in Statistics/Probability at the minimum of undergraduate level, OR (ii)
M. Sc. in Statistics with strong experience in programming with R/Python.
Essential For Project 2: (i) B.Tech./ M.Sc./ MCA in CS/ECE (or equivalent)
having strong experience in programming with Python/ MATLAB. Previous
experience in working in similar projects will be preferred.
Desirable For Project 1: Background knowledge in Clustering and Multivariate analysis

Pay
(For Project 1 & 2)
: `23000/- (Rupees twenty three thousand) only to `26000/- (Rupees twenty six
thousand) only per month (consolidated with no other allowances) depending on
the qualification and experience of the selected candidates
