Project RA / SRF Biological Sciences recruitment in International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology
The position is temporary, with the initial tenure of two years, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on basis, subject to annual assessment.
Duty Station: New Delhi, India
Vacancies are available to work in a research project atStructural Immunology Group, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi.
Research Associate (Structural Immunology)
Essential Qualification:The candidate should have a PhD degree in a biological sciences with minimum 60% marks and NET qualification with strong background knowledge in immunology and biochemical/structural biology techniques.
Desirable: Molecular biology bench work with PCR, cloning, and vector design. Cell culture, cell sorting, flow cytometry, intercellular staining, and transfections. Antibody screening using phage display library. Expertise in X-ray crystallography will be additional advantage.
Senior Research Fellow (Structural Immunology)
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research fellow in the Structural Immunology Group, ICGEB, New Delhi.
The position is temporary, with the initial tenure of two years, which can be extended to the maximal duration of the project, year on basis, subject to annual assessment.
Educational qualifications: Masters degree (MSc) in any field of life sciences with a work experience in a research lab of minimum two years. Demonstrable hands-on experience in basic molecular biology and microbiology tools/experiments will be given a preference.
