Project Scientist-C/ Project Assistant Jobs opportunity in SN Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences on contract basis

Project Scientist-C

No. of Posts : 4

Qualification : PhD in Science/ Applied Sciences/ Engineering or M. Sc /BE / B. Tech / M. Tech in any of the following areas. 

Qualifying Area : Physics / Applied Physics / Applied Optics / Instrumentation / Material Science or Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Metallurgy from recognized College / Institution/ University.

Experience : Minimum 1 (one) year after PhD, Minimum 3 (three) years after M. Tech, Minimum 2 (two) years after M. Sc / B. Tech / BE.

Desirable : 1) First Class in qualifying degree. 2) All experiences will be only in areas relevant to project work and done in academic institutions / national laboratories including Industrial R & D Establishment.

Salary : Rs.63,900/-(approximately) per month.

Age Limit : Not more that 35 years on the date of advertisement.

Project Assistant

No. of Posts : 6

Qualification : B.E or B. Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Applied Optics) or M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / Instrumentation from recognized College/ Institution/ University. Knowledge of computer use is essential.

Experience : Minimum 3 (three) years in operating and maintenance of sophisticated instruments.

Desirable : 1) First Class in qualifying degree. 2) Experience in operating and maintenance of sophisticated instruments viz. X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) / Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) / Electron Energy Loss Spectrometry (EELS), Sputtering Unit, Optical Design and building of Optical /NIR Instrument, Mass Spectrometry, Electronics Design, interfacing and hardware maintenance, Clean room (10,000 class) etc.

Salary : Rs.35,400/-(approximately) per month.

Age Limit : Not more that 35 years on the date of advertisement
