Project Scientist (Ecology) recruitment in The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun
Project entitled “Preparation of Conservation Plan for Biodiversity likely to be Impacted by Greenfield Jewar International Airport, Gautam Budha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh”
Project Scientist (Ecology)/1 Post
Essential Qualification (EQ): Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent And The candidate must have minimum three years of experience after Doctoral Degree in the field of Ecology/ Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Ecology from a recognised Scientific Organisation .
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in wildlife policies and overall project coordination.
Pay Scale : Rs. 67,000 + HRA
Essential Qualification (EQ): Master’s Degree in Life Science/ Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Ecology/ Environmental Sciences from a recognized university and The candidate must have minimum four years of experience after relevant Master Degree in the field of Wildlife Science/ Forestry/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Ecology from a recognised Scientific Organisation .
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Preference will be given to the candidate having Ph.D./ M.Phil. Degree in related subjects and working experience in wildlife field assessment and survey. The candidate should have experience in wildlife survey, occupancy analysis, population estimation, habitat quantification using different approaches. In addition to this, knowledge of GIS, Statistics, Data analysis and report writing will be required
