Project Scientist recruitment in Ministry of Earth Sciences on direct recruitment basis
Project entitled: “Seismic Hazard Microzonation of 30 Targeted Cities of the country”.
3 .Project Scientist C /1 Post
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree M.Tech / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Sc in geophysics/Geology/ Environmental Science with GIS knowledge/Remote Sensing with GIS knowledge/ Geoinformatics / Civil Engineering with geotechnical expertise / Physics with at least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level and with expertise in seismology field/ Mathematics with expertise in seismology field from a recognized university/ Institute .
Minimum 03- years of Experience on different aspects of Microzonation, data collection, interpretation and field investigation
Age: Not exceeding 40 years
Pay Scale : Rs 22200
4.Project Scientist B /1 Post
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree M.Tech / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Sc in geophysics / Geology/ Environmental Science with GIS knowledge / Remote Sensing with GIS knowledge/ Geoinformatics / Civil Engineering with geotechnical expertise / Physics with expertise in seismology field / Mathematics with at least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level and expertise in seismology field from a recognized university/ Institute .
Minimum one year Experience in scientific data collection, data processing / GIS - expertise of preparing maps / report writing evident from the publication of research papers on geo -scientific societal issues in the journal of repute.
Not exceeding 35 years
Pay Scale : Rs 21000
