Project Scientist C - Laboratory (Non-Medical)

Name of the Project :  “Model District for Public Health Preparedness, Surveillance and Response: Multi-Strategic Integrated Approach in Thiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu, India)

Essential Qualification : i) First class Master’s degree in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/Bio Technology from a recognized university with four (4) years R&D/ teaching experience in the above relevant subjects. OR ii) Second class M.Sc + Ph.D degree, both in Microbiology/Medical Lab Technology/ Bio Technology from a recognized University with four (4) years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc + Ph.D.

Desirable Qualification and Experience : a) Doctoral degree/Post-doctoral experience in Microbiology/ Medical Lab Technology/Molecular Biology/ Virology b) Knowledge/ experience in Molecular Micro Biology / Virology c) Knowledge of Bioinformatics
