Project Senior Research Fellow/Project Technician Job Opportunity in NIMR National Institute of Malaria Research purely on contract basis
Project: “Determining discriminating concentrations in bottle assays for insecticide compounds that are unstable on filter papers, and for some selected compounds suitable for filter paper impregnation”
1. Project Senior Research Fellow/01 post
Essential Qualification: M. Sc in life sciences with NET qualifications plus two years research experience in relevant field
Desirable: Experience in Entomology work/vector borne diseases, lab work in scientific Institutes or research organizations
Age: 35 years
Salary: Rs. 36400 p.m consolidated (Rs 28000+30% HRA)
Job description: The candidates shall be working in lab. Nature of work involves mosquito colonization and conduction of bioassays/ tests in the lab.
2. Project Technician III/01 post
Essential Qualification: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory technology or PMW or two years field/laboratory experience from a Government Institution or recognised Institute
Desirable: Experience in mosquito rearing and colonization, lab work in scientific Institutes or research organizations
Age: 30 years
Salary : Rs. 18000 p.m consolidated
Job description: The candidates shall be working in lab. Nature of work involves mosquito rearing, conduction of tests in the lab, etc.
3. Project Technician I/01 post
Essential Qualification: High School or equivalent with one year experience in laboratory work from Government Institution or recognised Institute
Desirable: Experience in mosquito rearing and colonization, lab work in scientific Institutes or research organizations
Age: 25 years
Salary : Rs. 16000 p.m consolidated
Job description: The candidates shall be working in field as well as lab. Nature of work involves mosquito rearing, conduction of tests in the lab, etc.
