Essential Qualifications & Experience: B. Sc. in Chemistry or Biochemistry with at least 65% or an equivalent CPI. At least 2 years of research experience (at a hospital, clinic, public health or at an academic lab involved in clinical or diagnostics research) after obtaining the last degree is essential.
Prior experience in handling blood samples is essential. Prior experience with clinical studies, in drafting safety and ethics forms for studies, and carrying out selection of participants following inclusion and exclusion criteria are essential. It is essential to have fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (due to the choice of the field study sites) to be able to communicate with participants. Candidates with past experience of field studies will be given preference. Prior exposure to sickle cell disease is desirable. Must be willing to travel extensively to the study sites. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team is needed. Scientific integrity and research ethics at the highest level is needed.

Pay Details: Level L2: Salary range from Rs.18000 to Rs. 26000 + Rs.2500.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
