Project Technical Officer/Project Technical Assistant Job opportunity In Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) purely on temporary basis
Project:
1) “Response to urban health service system to road traffic injuries”
2) “Generation of RNA vaccine candidate that protects the Chandipura virus challenge in mice”
1. Project Technical Officer-A/ 01 (OBC)
Essential Qualification: Graduate (Three year degree) in Social Science/Public Health from a recognized university with Five Years work experience from a recognized institution or Master degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable:
1) 1 Year Experience in Field Work in Urban health.
2) Knowledge of management, administrative and communication skills.
3) Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
4) Can read, write & understand Malayalam, English and Hindi.
Age Limit: 30 Years
Consolidated salary: Rs. 32,000/-
2A. Project Technical Assistant (Social Science)
Essential Qualification: Graduate (three years degree) in Social Science from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable:
1) 1 Year Experience in Field Work in Urban health.
2) Knowledge of management, administrative and communication skills.
3) Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
4) Can read, write & understand Malayalam, English and Hindi
Age Limit: 30 Years
2B. Project Technical Assistant (Lab)
Essential Qualification: Graduate (three years degree) in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
Desirable:
1) Laboratory experience in Molecular Biology/Tissue culture techniques/Bioinformatics, Virological techniques, Serology, handling infectious agents and fieldwork.
2) Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
Age Limit: 30 Years

3. Project TechnicianII (Field Assistant)/ 01 (UR)
Essential Qualification: (1) High School* or equivalent with five years experience in data management from a Government institution or recognized institution or certificate of one year training in the relevant area. *Intermediate and Bachelor Degree shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years experience respectively
Desirable:
(1) Typing speed with 30/40 WPM in English
2) Bachelor Degree/Diploma in IT/Computer Science/Computer Applications.
