Project Technician-III (Field Worker) job recruitment in National Institute of Nutrition on ad hoc research project
Project Title : “ Assessment of Iodine Status among Pregnant Women in Selected Districts of India”
No. of Post : 02 (OBC-01 & UR-01)
Qualification : 12th pass in Science subjects. Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician/PMW/ radiology/radiography or related subjects OR 12th pass in Science subjects. 01 year DMLT plus one year required experience in recognized organization or two years field/laboratory experience or animal house keeping in Government recognized organization. Desirable : Bachelors degree in Nutrition/Dietetics/Food Science/ Sociology /Social Work
Age : 30 yrs
Salary : Rs.18000/-
Tenure : Initially for 12 months extendable based on requirement.
Selection Procedure: Interview will be conducted for the eligible candidates after verification of the Certificates. However, if more number of candidates are found eligible for the post advertised, Written Test/ Skill Test may also be conducted on the same day for final round of Interview.

founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918 as ‘Beri-Beri’
Enquiry Unit in a single room laboratory at the Pasteur Institute,
Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Within a short span of seven years, this unit
blossomed into a 'Deficiency Disease Enquiry' and later in 1928, emerged
as full-fledged 'Nutrition Research Laboratories' (NRL) with Dr.
McCarrison as its first Director. It was shifted to Hyderabad in 1958.
