Title : “RATIONS study: A cluster randomized trial of nutritional support (food rations) to reduce TB incidence in household contacts of patients with smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis in communities with a high prevalence of under-nutrition
Qualification : 12th class pass with science subjects with
at least 2 years of experience relevant to this project. Relaxation of
essential qualification to 12th Class pass with other subjects will be
considered for those with relevant field experience. Fresh 12th Class pass-outs
or those with experience not relevant to this project need not apply
Desirable : Previous experience in field based studies or
programmes, especially those related to TB or nutrition in Jharkhand and in the
district concerned, will be considered desirable. Skills in nutritional
assessment, entering data and good communication skills and community
interactions would be highly desirable. Candidates should have a valid driving
license and own a 2-wheeler vehicle to enable their travel. Proof of domicile
in the district of work would be preferred.
