The following posts are to be filled purely on contract and temporary basis from willing eligible candidates to work in Jharkhand for the ICMR funded ad-project titled “RATIONS study: A cluster randomized trial of nutritional support (food rations) to reduce TB incidence in household contacts of patients with smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis in communities with a high prevalence of undernutrition (total duration: 3 years) implemented by this institute.
Project Technician III (Field Worker) /Number of posts 3 Posts ; OBC-1,SC-1,EWS-1
Place of posting Seraikela-Kharsawan, Paschimi and purbi Singhbhum districts.
Essential qualification 12th class pass with science subjects with at least 2 years of experience relevant to this project. Relaxation of essential qualification to 12th class pass with other subjects will be considered for those with relevant field experience. Fresh 12th class pass outs or those with experience not relevant to this project need not apply.
Desirable Qualifications skills and other requirements Previous experience in field based studies or programmes, especially those related to TB or nutrition in Jharkand and in the district concerned will be considered desirable.Skills in nutritional assessment of entering data and good communication skills and community interactions would be highly desirable. Candidates should have a valid driving license and own a 2 wheeler vehicle to enable their travel. Proof of domicile in the district of work would be preferred.
Age limit Not exceeding 30 years
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.18,000/- p m
Project Technician III (Phlebotomist) / OBC-1
Place of posting Ranchi, Seraikela-Kharsawan, East and West Singhbhum districts N
Essential qualification :; 12th Pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year lab/field experience in a recognized organization or two years laboratory/field experience* in Govt. recognized organisation *BSc in the relevant field will be treated as three years experience
Age limit Not exceeding 30 years
