Job Description
- To raise Purchase Orders based on the purchase planning provided by the management
- Whenever Pos for new products is raised, the artwork for the same has to be approved by the Brand Manager
- Once raised, to send for management approval. To be the loop with the management till the same is approved
- If rejected by management, then to amend the Pos and to repeat the above two points
- Once approval is received, to send the Pos to the manufacturers and obtain acknowledgment
- If any amendments are required by the manufacturers, then to cancel the PO already sent, to raise a fresh order and repeat the above steps
- To follow up on acknowledgment dates with manufacturers and to update the same on SAP
- If any PO is not acknowledged by the manufacturer for a long time, then the same has to be escalated to the management to decide if the PO has to be closed
- To follow up on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for each product and update the same on SAP
- To check if GRN for all products is made as per ETA. If no GRN is raised on or before ETA, then follows to be made with manufacturer
- If ETA is not shared by manufacturer or if goods are not supplied as per ETA, then the same has to be escalated to the management to decide if the PO has to be closed
- To review on every GRN entry if the correct PO has been knocked off. If not, then the same has to be immediately rectified though Inwards Manager
- To revied the closure and short closure of Pos
- Creation of Item Master after taking approval from Finance Manager
- To raise Master Agreement with manufacturers
