  • Job Title:  Senior Manager (Vendor management Quality Services)
  • JOB DESCRIPTION AND ROLE ANALYSIS
ROLE OBJECTIVES:
  • Plan, direct & Co-ordinate the activities of buyers, Vendors and related workers, involved in product & Services.
JOB DESCRIPTION/CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY:
  • His responsibility is to monitor the overall Purchase and performance of PSMI to the satisfaction of the principals and in adherence to the company’s quality policy and system and guides the staff accordingly.
  • His responsibilities include:
  • Controls purchase department budget.
  • Plan direct &  forecast all activities of buyers.
  • Locates vendors of Materials, Equipment of Suppliers & Interview them in order to determine the Product availability in terms of sales.
  • Analyse market & delivery systems in order to Assist present & future material availability & Margin on Purchase.
  • Participate in the Trial  Specification for Equipments,Products or Substitute Materials.
  • Resolve vendor Grievances & Claims against Supplies.
  • Forecasting likely levels of demand  to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels to maximise business efficiency.
  • Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
  • Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
  • Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, building and maintaining good relationship with them.
  • Negotiating and agreeing rate contract and monitoring their progress - checking the quality of service provided.
  • Processing payments and invoices for Vendors & maintaining aging Report.
  • Keeping contract files and using them as reference for the future.
  • Giving presentations about market analysis.
  • Arrange for disposal of Surplus material & also Liquidation of existing materials in the warehouse.
  • Any other duty as directed by the Management.
  • Liaising & Co-Ordinating with Finance Department for Vendor Payment.
