About GymCounselor

We are a web-based fitness community trying to help anyone that wants to make a positive change in their lives. We do so by sharing our knowledge and our expertise in the fields of exercise science and nutrition. GymCounselor is a startup helping people get fit and healthy. In this era, the biggest problem people face is obesity and poor diet leading to various medical conditions. We work on people to get fit and achieve their goals. We have a team of people providing personal coaching to our clients, including diet, nutrition, workout, and scientific calculations relating to their own body type.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Building a state-of-the-art and automation-friendly framework to smartly extract (parallel computing), quality check (NLTK and RegEx), and analyze data (Pandas and DataViz) at high volume
2. Developing cutting-edge software and serviceability tools in Python and MySQL
3. Writing reusable and testable code
4. Planning software architecture and gathering functional requirements from clients and supporting them in technical queries
5. Working on versioning of software, testing, and bug fixing
6. Reviewing existing code and identifying various opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality
7. Integrating data storage solutions and transiting into data analytics/science
