Job Description
QA Automation Engineer
LOCATION : Mumbai - Santa Cruz
Responsibilities :
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create and implement detailed test cases for functional, unit, performance,
- security, and scalability testing well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Independently create automated test scripts with cucumber in Selenium using java
- Analyze results and provide defect reporting.
- Debug and resolve issues in automated scripts by reading logs and other output.
- Detect and minimize bugs, errors, technical, security, and functional flaws in the applications as well as outline steps for minimizing the same
- Should have exposure to API testing and should be able to use Postman.
- Suggest new tools and techniques to improve test efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 4 - 5 years
QUALIFICATION : BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
