Medline International is looking to hire an experienced QAD Implementation specialist. This is a seeding position where your responsibilities will include shepherding QAD implementation for new business sites in East Asia and India. Work closely with process owners to configure the standard QAD functions according to the business needs, to train and support them to carry out the daily activities.

Some Roles And Responsibilities

Implementing QAD and QAD modules to get new sites hit the ground running.
Contribute in making strategic decisions including the establishment of systems specifications concerning the QAD application and functionality.
Support business users on day-to-day basis to carry out daily functions, including issue resolution and systems enhancement
Identifying and impart Trainings on QAD Applications where required.
Organise and maintain regular reviews with business units regarding business application performance or additional functionality requirements
Defining and creating documentation viz. SoPs., user guides, requirement documentation etc…
Make approved system changes as per the change control procedure for all changes to business applications
Test applications to eliminate errors and ensure they meet user requirements
Implement user acceptance testing and training plans to ensure the quality of the product as well as its smooth operation.
Support third party support consultants and contractors in the resolution of application problems
Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality systems
Maintain all procedures and processes for the purposes of quality accreditation as they apply to your portfolio of products and responsibilities
Willing for short travels 15-20% of time. (ofcourse only after situation is back to normal with regards to Covid-19).

Required

Skills / Experience:

At least 8yrs of hands-on QAD (and Mfg/Pro) experience, with at least 2 full implementation cycles.
A broad range of QAD knowledge especially in functional areas like Finance, Supply chain, Sales & Distribution.
Experience of working closely with functional leaders at Operational Level.
Hands-on experience with QAD tools like QAD Excelerator, QRF would be good value-add.
An analytical approach to problem solving
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Commercial focus and acumen
Experience with management of the performance contractors and consultants
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Skills

A strong let’s-do-it attitude
Experience in healthcare domain or Distribution business.
Exposure to Implementation for Asian sites.
Pro-active attitude – Engaging leaders in either of following cases
Proposing improvements
Resolving capacity or capability constraints.
Experience with managing projects and teams on a strategic and technical level
Likes working independently on multiple assignments simultaneously
Excellent English verbal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with QAD development and/or technical team.
Experience in production support
Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
