VAHAK is India's Largest Network of Transporters. We are an Online Road Transport Community and Marketplace for the Indian Freight Logistics industry. A B2B Marketplace for Agents & Brokers, Transporters and Individual Lorry owners to carry out seamless Lorry bookings. VAHAK is India’s first online transport market app, a mobile application for road transport businesses and individual commercial vehicle (Trucks, Trailers, Containers, Hyva, LCVs) owners for online lorry bookings, transport business branding and transport business network expansion . 

Position – SDE (QA) 

Job Role: 

1. Creates and executes test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products 

2. Defines comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing 

3. Schedules and performs functional, integration, regression, and release testing 

4. Submits defects and issues to development for correction, and retests once defects have been resolved 

5. Reports test results and status as appropriate 

6. Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure 

7. Creates and/or reviews requirements, design, and scope documents 

8. Helps support and advocates the standard to test design, procedures and may provide input to those procedures 

9. Coordinates and/or performs testing from initiation through delivery 

10. Ensures testing is completed on schedule and within budget 

11. Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical department in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met 

12. May create and maintain test libraries, databases, and test environments 

13. May certify and review test results of other analysts and testers 

14. May assist with software changes for documentation update or correction 

15. May assist with automated scripts from team members 

16. May cross-train and mentor less experienced QA team members 

17. Prepare Automated Scripts for the Modules 

18. Prepare reusable methods and Artifacts which helps in improving efficiency and productivity 

Skills & Experience: 

1. Able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple complex projects 

2. Cross-browser testing (Windows - Firefox, Chrome, IE, Edge)/ (Mac Book - Safari, Chrome, Firefox) 

3. Involves UI and UX testing. (UI User Interface & UX User Experience) 

4. Able to handle scripting across different technologies 

5. Good knowledge of software development lifecycles 

6. Good knowledge of software testing lifecycles 

7. Good knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM 

8. Good Knowledge of testing web-based applications on Mobiles / Desktop 

9. Able to modify testing development or to suit the environment or product 

10. Knowledge/experience of testing multiple platforms, browsers, and mobile devices a big plus 

11. Experience with the use of automated testing tools such as Selenium/Appimu 

12. Good knowledge of Performance testing 13. Good knowledge of API Testing (Manual as well as Automation) Preferred:  Understanding of and hands-on experience with testing tools; in particular Microsoft Visual Studio/TFS, MS Office, SharePoint, Test Data editors and JIRA  ISTQB Advanced / QAI Certified / AEM Certifications
