Location: Budapest, Hungary

As a Quality Assurance Associate you will be involved in the development of our features from planning to deployment and you will be responsible for ensuring that deployed features are error free and fulfil their UX requirements.

The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

Developing a working knowledge of how features work across our platform.
Following the progress of new features under development using JIRA, Github and Slack project channels.
Taking part in feature development from planning to testing and deployment.
Monitoring JIRA tickets and pull requests on Github that are ready for review.
Making sure features are error free and fulfill their UX requirements.
Having a good mental image of seemingly unrelated areas a to-be-released feature could potentially disrupt.
Communicating issues efficiently to developers.
Working closely with developers to ensure error-free code.
Making sure that after QA, only error-free code goes on for code review.
Working toward automated processes that further increase code quality.

Requirements

At least 1 year previous software QA testing experience.
Experience working with error logs.
Experience working with Github pull requests.
Ability to go into minute detail in testing while putting that into the perspective of the larger feature and other areas of the product.
High level English knowledge.
The ability to effectively identify edge cases.
Web fluency and knowledge of project management tools.
Ability to document complex errors/issues clearly and concisely.
Great interpersonal and communications skills.
Curiosity about the product, the inner drive to ask questions.

Bonus Points

Coding knowledge or experience with the following tools/technologies is not a requirement but is an advantage

Test management tools like Xray, qTest, Zephyr, etc.
