About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Engineer is a crucial part of thework.life product development. He/She is responsible to test application, automate test cases, interact with vendors or developers and be involved in the entire product life cycle. The position reports into the CTO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Self-managed individual who can actively build and configure automation frameworks from the scratch.
• Be thorough and ensure detailed documentation of test cases and results.
• Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team and ensure fixes are implemented within the agreed timelines.
• Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality.
• Work closely with the Software Engineering team and Product team as required.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a web application Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Proven manual testing skills especially on web-based product
• Previous experience at a startup is an added advantage
• Proven experience with test planning, test case design, documentation, and execution.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with team members at all levels within the organization.

Preferred Skills

• Test automation skills for Web Applications using tools like Catalon, Selenium, etc.
• Experience testing web based B2B an B2C web applications
• Regression testing
• Web Application builds on .Net
• Knowledge of creating test case and test scenarios.

Qualifications

1.     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is a must

2.     Certification of Software Testing or Diploma from a recognized and reputed institute.
