Job Description
- The
QA technician plays an important role in the company’s development
process.
- Their responsibility includes
conducting test before the launch to ensure that the web application runs
smoothly and meets client needs, and they should
also monitor all stages of the web application development to identify and
resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards, while being cost
effective.
The Duties
- Review
requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely
and meaningful feedback
- Create
detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate,
prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify,
record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform
regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop
and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Monitor
debugging process results
- Stay
up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Skills Required
- Experience
in quality assurance Applications
- Strong
knowledge of applying QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience
in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with white
box, black box testing and automated testing tools
- Problem solving skills
