Flight Instructor/ Chief Ground Instructor job position in Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology on contract basis

Flight Instructor

Qualification : Valid CPL with IR and FIR (A) Valid FRTOL and RTR Valid Class -1 medical assessment The applicant must have endorsement on Cessna 172 and PA 34 with atleast 500 hours of instructional flying in total.

Asst. Flight Instructor

Qualification : Valid CPL with IR and AFIR (A) Valid FRTOL and RTR Valid Class -1 medical assessment The applicant must have endorsement on Cessna 172 aircraft with atleast 500 hours total experience including instructional flying.

Chief Ground Instructor

Qualification : Two years teaching experience with FTO/Defence Aviation Training Organisation/ Airports Authority of India Aviation Training organization. Preference will be given to those who hold CPL with pass in DGCA ATPL Air Navigation examination or holder or who has held ATPL ( As per CAR Section 7 Series D Part 1 (13.9.2)

In 1980, the name“ Kerala Flying Club” was changed to Kerala Aviation Training Centre and later in 1981 the Government of Kerala brought the institution under its direct control. Subsequently with the approval of the Director General of Civil Aviation, KATC was renamed as Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology a Society under the title Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Act 1955. The new set up “Rajiv Gandhi Academy for Aviation Technology “ came into effect from 01.06.2006.
