Assistant Professor/ Stenographer Grade-II recruitment in Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan
Assistant Professor (Jyotisha)
Qualifications :1. Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at Acharya in Jyotisha or equivalent degree level, in the Jyotisha subject from an Indian University or, an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. 2. Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Notwithstanding anything contained in afore mentioned clauses (1) and (2) as per of the UGC Regulations, 2010 and subsequent amendments thereto, candidates , who are, or have been awarded a Vidyavaridhi / Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor (Shiksha Shastra)
Qualifications : 1. Acharya or equivalent Degree in Sanskrit and Shiksha Acharya or equivalent degree with Sanskrit each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) OR M.A. (Education in Sanskrit) and Shiksha Shastra or equivalent degree in Sanskrit each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading system is followed). 2. Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Assistant Director (Physical Education) Essential Qualifications 1. A Master's Degree in Physical Education or Master's Degree in Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. 2. Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university/inter collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships. 3. Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. 4. Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these Regulations. 5. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the "University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/ SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical Education/ College Director of Physical Education and Sports.

Qualifications 1. At least 12th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. 2. Computer Skill Test norms: Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription: 50 minutes (English) & 65 minutes (Hindi). Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Sanskrit.

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan was established in 15th October, 1970 as an autonomous organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) for the development and promotion of Sanskrit all over the country. It is fully funded by Government of India. It functions as an apex body for propagation and development of Sanskrit and assists the Ministry of Human Resource Development in formulating and implementing various plans and schemes for the development of Sanskrit studies. It has assumed the role of a nodal body for the effective implementation of various recommendations made by the Sanskrit Commission set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Education in 1956 to consider the propagation and development of Sanskrit language and education in all its aspects.
