Here’s What You Will Do

• Creating a suite of world-class mobile and web applications that will wow our customers and the public, just like how our technology does.
• Taking ownership of the entire software development lifecycle for mobile applications ranging from requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design, and development to testing and deployment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (.e.g. Backend, Director heading the solution and UX Designer) to define design and ship new features.

• Manage, lead and deliver prototype, demos, documentation, test, debug and configure the evolution of core system capabilities, transfer IIoT remote asset monitoring solutions to shipping products.

• Interface with other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, provide technical guidance, coach junior engineers, come up with new solutions and improve existing solutions.

• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Understanding end-user requirements and user stories and translating them into a pragmatic and effective technical solution

• Identify and leverage new and evolving capabilities and technologies pertinent to our solution, provide feedback on tools and new features needed to platform development teams.

Here’s What We Look For!

• A Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering
• 4+ Years of overall industry app. experience and 2.5+ year of rich experience in React Native
• Ability to think from the end user's perspective and focused on improving the overall product experience.
• Developer at heart with a strong focus to learn and implement the latest enhancements in React Native and other cross-platform mobile app development tools.
• Hands-on experience on React Native APIs, ReactJS, Javascript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX
• Hands-on experience on iOS or Android is an added advantage
• Hands-on experience on Web development technology stack, HTML/JS/CSS and other web development libraries and frameworks is an added advantage.

• Good understanding of IoT architecture, protocols, automation frameworks, and analytics solutions would be highly preferred. 

• Experience in design, development, and deployment of mobile apps and knowledge of popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Complete hands-on on React Native and Javascript coding practices and conventions. Ability to coach teams in writing quality code
• Expertise in React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, Visual Studio Code), Chrome debugging tools, ESLint, React Native CLI, Watchman, package manager, etc.
• Good familiarity with most of the React Native built-in and popular third party frameworks, libraries, and accelerators. With in-depth expertise on most of the popular ones.

• Knowledge of REST API’s, modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token and experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc., would be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of mobile technologies (LTE/VoLTE/GSM/ CDMA/ HSPA+) and Bluetooth is a plus
• Experience with Android SDK with strong skills in Java, JavaScript; frameworks such as UI, Animations, Maps, OkHTTP
• Expertise in design patterns and a knack for benchmarking & optimization.

• CSPO or SAFe would be an added advantage
