Job Description
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answer queries about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Welcome visitors; determine nature of business, and direct visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Update appointment calendars and maintain database and reports.
- Maintain fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
