Receptionist Front Desk
Job Description
- Excellent
communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to
read, write and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written
instruction.
- Ability to
make independent decisions and to remain calm during emergency situations.
- Ability to
understand and operate mechanics of a multi-line telephone/EPBAX System.
- Must
possess patience and the ability to relate tactfully with personnel,
subordinates, visitors and the general public.
- Must
possess a working knowledge of Computers.
- A graduate
or equivalent.
- Presents a
neat appearance with a pleasant speaking voice and personality.
- Must be
punctual.
- Discusses
any problems, needs or concerns which arise with the Administrator.
Desired profile of the candidate
- Operates
EPBAX System.
- Answers telephone, determines nature of
call and relays information within the facility as necessary.
- Takes
messages correctly for personnel who are unavailable or locates personnel
through the telephone system.
- Receives
inquires and In-Ward Couriers and send Out-Ward Couriers.
- Greets and
gives directions/information to visitors, and guests.
- Must function
independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to
work effectively with personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies.
