Job Description
Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters
Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office,
Guntur from 03 January 2018 to 13 January 2018 at Municipal Stadium
Kadapa to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from seven districts of Andhra
Pradesh viz, Kadapa, Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore
& Prakasam in Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier
Tradesman Categories
(a) Soldier Technical
Qualification : 10+2 /Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each Subject
Height : 165 cms

(b) Soldier Technical (Avn/Amn) Examiner
Qualification : 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. (OR) Three year Diploma in Engg(Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science and Electronics & Instrumentation Engg) from a recognised polytechnic / Institute / ITI (No education relaxation for this catgory is existing presently)

(c) Soldier General Duty
Qualification : 10th pass with min 33% in each subject / C2 Grade or 4.75 Points in Grade System and 45% marks in aggregate except additional subject 10+2 simple pass in all subject. Stipulated marks percentage will be waived off for 10+2 and higher education qualification

(d) Soldier Tradesman
Qualification : (i) 8th Class Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce. (ii) 10th Class Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood work), Artisan (Metallurgy) Suport Staff (ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass / ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken Class X Board Exam would be considered.

(d) Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher (All Arms)
Age : (i) 27 Yrs to 34 Years for Civil Candidates, (ii) 25 Yrs to 34 Years for remustering Candidates.
Pay and Allowances and other Facilities : After enrolment a soldier is entitled to get approx Rs 30,000/- per month as per Seventh Pay Commission and allowances as admissible along with other facilities such as free ration/ ration money, clothing, medical for self and accommodation, Railway warrant for self and dependents, Group Housing Scheme, Army Group Insurance Scheme of Rs 25,00,000/-.
Selection Procedure : The under mentioned tests are compulsory for all :-
(a) Physical Fitness Test (PMT)
(i) 1.6 KM Run for all category :- Gp-I (Less than 5 min 30 secs) Gp-II (5 min 31 secs to 5 min 45 secs)
(ii) Pull Ups, minimum six /
(iii) 9 Feet Ditch Jump /
(iv) Balancing Beam /
(v) For Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher (All Arms)-1.6 Km run in maximum 8 mins. 9 Feet Ditch, Pull ups and Zig Zag balance are not applicable
(b) Physical Measurement Test(PMT)
(c) Medical : The medical examination will be carried out on dates given by Medical Team. Candidates to check for date of medical examination at rally site. Candidates referred to MH at rally site will report to concerned specialist at MH Secunderabad along with three latest passport size photographs. Candidate will ensure that review medical is carried out on the dates given to them.
(d) Common Entrance Examination (CEE) : All the candidates who have been declared fit in the Medical Examination will under go a Common Entrance Examination which will be conducted at Army Recruitment Office, Guntur; the location and date of CEE will be informed on the spot / will be intimated later
Note : Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry (UT) and Andaman and Nicobar Group of Island who have already applied for Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher (All Arms) will also attend the rally
