Army Recruitment Rally conducts Army Recruiting Office Siliguri

1. Soldier General Duty

Age: 17 ½ Years to 23 Years (01 Oct 1993 - 01 Apr 1999)

2. Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Aviation & Ammunition Examiner,  Soldier Tradesmen, Soldier Nursing Assistant & Soldier Nursing Assistant Veterinary

Age: 17 ½ Years to 21 Years (01 Oct 1995 - 01 Apr 1999) (Note : As on 01 Oct 2016)

Sol GD (AIAC)

Qualification: (a) 10 pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks & 33% marks in each subject. (b) Candidate having higher qualification 10+2 or more need th not have 45% marks in 10 Class

Sol CLK/SKT (AIAC)

Qualification: (i) Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in CL XII (C-2) grade in individual subject and aggregate of 5 pt for bd with grading system). (ii) Should have studied English and Maths/Acct/Book keeping in CL XII or CL X Should have secured min 40% marks in each of these subjects. Whether it was studied in cl XII or Cl X. iii) First Class XII marks will be considered for eligibility. If the candidate has secured 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate, then he is eligible. If the candidate has English but not Maths/Accts/Book Keeping a subject in XII, he should have passed CL X with min 40% marks in Maths/Acct/Book Keeping. Similarly if candidate has Maths/Accts/Book Keeping with min 40% marks in English. (vi) If candidate is (any field) Graduate with Maths/Accts/Book Keeping and English (Even elective) as one of the subjects, the stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Maths/English in Cl-XII or CL X and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in CLXII is waived off.

Sol Techical

Qualification: 10+2/HS/Intermediate exam. pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50 % marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. Sol Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner) 10+2/HS/Intermediate pass in Science with English, Maths, Physics & Chemistry, as compulsory subjects with minimum 50 % in Aggregae and 40 % Marks in each subject. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobiles/Computer Science/Mechanical Engg and Electronic & Instrumentation Engg from recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.(No edn relaxation for this cat is existing presently)

Sol Nursing Assistant & Vetreniary Assistant

Qualification:  Should have secured 40 % in compulsory subject (Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology) 50 % in aggregate in Cl-XII. In case of graduate have BSC Degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science and English (Simple pass), the stipulation of percentage in Cl-XII is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four subjects in C-XII also.

Soldier Tdn (AIAC)/Sol Tdn (Scheduled Tribe)/Sol Tdn Hill Tribes /Sol Tdn Indian Gorkha

Qualification:  Minimum 10th class Simple Pass for all trades (Minimum 8th class pass house keeper, mess keeper & Syce only)
