Scientist Job vacancies in Regional Centre for Biotechnology on contractual basis
Title of Project: “Establishment of Biosafety Support Unit (BSU)”
Scientist (Agronomy)/ 01 Post
Essential Qualifications: (i). Ph. D. in Agronomy and (ii). First Class Degree at MSc / M.Tech level in Agronomy/Agriculture Essential Experience: Minimum one year Post-Doctoral experience preferably in design, execution and analysis of field trials
Pay Scale : Rs.50,000/-to Rs.70,000/- per month based on experience
Age : 37 years
Scientist (Biosafety & Biocontainment) / 01 Post
Essential Qualifications: (i). Ph. D. in any field of Biological Sciences (ii). First Class Degree at MSc / M.Tech level in any field of Biological Sciences Essential Experience: Minimum one year Post-Doctoral experience in BSLIII /IV Bio-Containment Facilities in Public or Private Sector.
Pay Scale : Rs.50,000/-to Rs.70,000/- per month based on experience
Age : 37 years

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an institution of education, training and research is established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The Centre will focus on cooperatively working towards shared biotechnology growth in the Asia-Pacific Region. Regional interactions in biotechnology will promote co-operation amongst the countries to develop necessary infrastructure and capacity building for economic benefit of our societies. The Centre would be beneficial in developing knowledge rich, highly skilled human resource to all countries in the region. RCB will be part of the Biotech Science Cluster (BSC) and will operate in synergy with the other institutions in the Cluster.
