Deputy Director/Accountant/Office Assistant/Technical Assistant recruitment in Regional Centre for Urban & Environmental Studies Lucknow
Deputy Director/1 Post
Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree with Ph.D. in Social Sciences including Geography or Master’s degree in Town & Regional Planning/ Architecture/ Civil Engineering in first division and with consistently good academic record. Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in training or research or consultancy preferably in the urban sector.
For Officers under Central Government/State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs /Semi Government/ Institutes holding analogous post or minimum 3 years of regular service in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100+GP 5,400/- and above in the parent cadre or department having required experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in the urban sector with experience in Environmental Engineering/Transportation Planning/ Public Health Engineering/Urban Poverty/urban planning including social planning and development planning will be an added advantage. Good written and oral communication skills in English & Hindi language and working knowledge of computer are desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100,
Accountant /1 Post
Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Commerce in first division from recognized university/ institute with minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cash, Accounts Compilation, Internal Audit, Budget and taxes work in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ MNC/ Company. For Applicants under Central Government/State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs /Semi Government/ Institutes holding analogous post or 3 years regular service in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800, GP- 4200/- and above in the parent cadre or department.
Desirable Qualification Diploma in Finance and Accounts or in a related area with training in cash and accounts. Experience of Accounts compilation, Budget preparation, Internal Audit, Accounting etc in an Established Organization. Working knowledge of Accounting Software is desirable.
Office Assistant/1 Post
Qualification & Experience: Graduate in any discipline in first division with 1 year PG Diploma/degree in Computer Application from recognized university/ institute/Board, with minimum 3 years of working experience in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ MNC/ Company.
For Applicants under Central Government/State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs /Semi Government/ Institutes holding analogous post or 3 years regular service in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800, GP- 4200/- and above in the parent cadre or department. Desirable Qualification Graduates with diploma in Computer Applications OR Graduate with ‘O’ level with one year certificate from DOEACC with 3 years of experience having good working knowledge of Modern Office Management and Secretarial practice. Proficiency in use of computers applications is desirable.
Technical Assistant /1 Post
Qualification & Experience: Post-graduation degree in science or bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering/infrastructure/ planning/ IT/ Computer Applications in first division, with minimum 3 years of working experience in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ MNC/ Company.
For Applicants under Central Government/State Governments/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs /Semi Government/ Institutes holding analogous post or 3 years regular service in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800, GP- 4200/- and above in the parent cadre or department. Desirable Qualification Good knowledge of field work, data collection, data analysis. Good written and oral communication skills in English & Hindi language and proficiency in use of computers applications is desirable.
Stenographer/1 Post
Qualification & Experience: Graduates with first division from recognized university/ institute. With certificate of Hindi and English shorthand and typing with alteast 40 words in Hindi and 60 words in English per minute, with minimum 3 years of working experience in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ MNC/ Company.

Age Limit: 21- 40 years
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Application fee of Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC applicants and Rs.500/- for SC/ST category candidates and Rs. 150 for differently abled category. The Application Fee shall be payable in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Director, Regional Centre for Urban & Environmental Studies, Lucknow”, payable at Lucknow.
Selection Procedure:The selection of the candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant, Technical Assistant and Stenographer will be on the basis of written test and interview depending on the number of applications received. For all other posts the selection will be based on personal interview.
