Regional Director Academic / Assistant Regional Director Academic recruitment in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Deputation
1. Regional Director Academic /1Post
Eligibility: A Person in regular service holding analogous post on permanent basis in the same Scale of Pay in an Higher Education Institution/University/College/Accredited Research Institution/Institution of National Importance etc. Or A person in regular service working on permanent basis in an Higher Education Institution/University/College/Accredited Research Institution/Institution of National Importance etc. and fulfilling following qualifications: (i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in any subject. (ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). (iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor/Assistant Regional Director/Assistant Director in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in the Appendix I of the Application form. B. Desirable (i) Contribution in the educational innovation, design of courses & curricula, Curriculum transaction, Students support Service etc. (ii) Experience of Open and Distance Learning System
Pay Scale: Rs. 131400- 217100
2. Assistant Regional Director Academic /1Post
Eligibility: A person in regular service holding analogous post as Assistant Professor/Assistant Director/Assistant Regional Director/ equivalent Academic post on permanent basis in the same Scale of Pay in an Higher Education Institution/University/College/ Accredited Research Institution/Institution of National Importance etc. The fulfillment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned as provided in the Application format.
Pay Scale: Rs. 57700- 182400
3. Assistant Registrar Non Academic /1Post
Eligibility: A person in regular service holding analogous post as Assistant Registrar/equivalent post on permanent basis in the same Scale of Pay in a Higher Education Institution/University/College/ Accredited Research Institution/Institution of National Importance/Govt. Organization etc.
Pay Scale: Rs. 56100- 177500
Age Limit: Preferably below 55 Years

Age Limit: Preferably below 55 Years
Period of Deputation: The Deputation will be initially for a period of 02 years which may be
extended on the basis of satisfactory work with the approval of the Competent Authority.
Application Fee: Application Form should be submitted along with a fee of 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) for General /OBC category and 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for SC/ST categories payable online through the link provided at the IGNOU website. However, Physically Handicapped candidates with a minimum of 40% disability are exempted from payment. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
