Educational Qualifications : Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or (an equivalent grade of 'El' in the seven point scale at Masters degree level in the relevant subject) from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject for Assistant Professors conducted by the UGC/CS1R or any other agency accredited by the UGC.
Exemption, if any, to be provided will be strictly as per guidelines issued by MHRD, GOI and UGC to persons who have obtained a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum standards and procedures for award of Ph.D. degree) regulation, 2009. Relaxation for qualifying marks will be given as per UGC guidelines. Exemption of NET is Permissible to candidates who have: I. Obtained MPhil Degree on or before 10th July 2009. 2. Obtained Ph.D. Degree on or beforel r December 2009. 3. Registered for Ph.D. on or before 10' July 2009 and subsequently awarded the Ph.D. Degree. Desirable Qualification : B.Ed. for all posts of Assistant Professor. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in Methodology for the post of Assistant Professor in Education
