Project Technician/Project Asst. /Project Technician/Scientist Job vacancies in Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR) on purely temporary basis
Under the project entitled “Tribal Health Research Unit” at RMRC, Belagavi.
Project Technician - III /2 Posts (Posting at RMRC, Belagavi)
Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in (DMLT or PMW) or 12th pass in Science subjects with one year DMLT and one year relevant experience in a recognized organization. Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Bio-chemistry and Pathology laboratories. Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard. Also, relaxable for deserving candidates as admissible.
Pay Scale : Rs.17040
Under the project entitled: “Biomedical Informatics Centre of ICMR”.
Project Asst. (Bio Informatics)/1 (Posting at RMRC, Belagavi)
Essential Qualification: Three years Graduate Degree in Bioinformatics and Diploma /experience in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute for at least one year. Desirable Qualifications: 1. M.Tech / M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, 2.Laboratory experience in Biological techniques. Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by competent authority from time to time in this regard.
Emoluments: Rs. 28755
Under the scheme entitled “Improving health and nutritional status of vulnerable segment of population by implementing multi-component health and nutrition education intervention as a sustainable model of intervention” under Model Rural Health Research Unit (MRHRU)” at Sirwar PHC, Raichur Dist., Karnataka.
Project Technician-II (FIELD ASSISTANT)/2 Posts (Posting at Sirwar, Raichur Dist.)
Essential Qualifications: 10th / Matric/ High school/ equivalent with certificate of one year training in social science/ field survey, health mission/ other community related work from recognized institute AND five years’ experience in these subjects under Government/ recognized institute. (12th pass will be treated as two years’ experience and Bachelor’s degree in any Science or Social science shall be treated as 3 years’ experience). Desirable Qualifications: Higher qualification and experience in social science/ field survey, health mission/ other community related work. Job requirement: To undertake field based and community work in villages of Raichur District and to assist in conduct of such studies at the MRHRU, Sirwar, Raichur District.
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard. Also, relaxable for deserving candidates as admissible.

Scientist ‘C’ (MEDICAL)/1 Post (Posting at Sirwar, Raichur Dist.)
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience OR MBBS degree with 4 years’ experience in medical subjects after MBBS Degree. Desirable Qualification: a) Experience in Public Health/Medicine/Epidemiology. b) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Age limit: Not exceeding 40 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by competent authority from time to time in this regard.
Emoluments: Rs.60000/- per month consolidated*
