Qualification  :  i) A Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale. The condition of 55% of marks at Master's level is relatable in case or applicants who are already in the University system. A relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master's level isi permissible for SC/ST candidates. A relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of the marks is permissible to the Degree holders who have passed their Master's Degree prior to 19th September 1991. ii) At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Senior Scale) / Lecturer with 8  years’ experience in Reader's / Associate Professor's Grade along with] experience in educational administration, commensurate with the revised pay: scale and designation of the UGC. OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other Institutions of, Higher Education. OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post. iii) (a) In addition to the above qualification, the candidate shall possess the following qualification in Computer Operation within two years from the date of appointment, if does not posses. 'A Certificate in Computer operation prescribed by the Director of Information Technology, Govt. of Maharashtra. OR Certificate of D.O.E.A.C. Societies 'C.C.C.' or '0' level or 'A' level or 'B' level or 'C' level or MS-CIT or GECT Certificate of Maharashtra State, Higher & Technical Education Board'. However, the qualification at (iii) (a) shall be exempted to the departmental candidates of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, who have passed the prescribed Computer Skill Test of the respective level, conducted by the University. (b) Those who have passed the following examinations shall be treated as having passed the above prescribed computer qualification: i) Degree and diploma in Computer Technology / Computer Engineering / Information Technology and; P.G. /Advance Diploma in Computer Application, ADCSSAA awarded by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State. ii) Degree / Diploma awarded by all the Govt. recognized universities in Computer Technology/Computer Engineering/Information Technology and P.G./Advanced Diploma in Computer Application, Computer Application System and Analysis. (c) The candidates from the University or from the service of Govt. of Maharashtra, who have crossed the age of 50 years, shall be exempted from submitting the certificate of computer qualification. iv) Ph.D. shall be a desirable qualification. v) Proficiency in Marathi language. Preference will be given to the Deputy Registrars or its equivalent administrative officers of the University fulfilling the qualifications and experience mentioned under i) to v) above. 

Pay Scale : Rs.37400- 67000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 8900/- or AGP Rs.10,000/- (whichever is admissible) plus admissible allowances.

Age Limit : Unless already in the service of Universities or affiliated colleges, not less than 45 years of age.

Qualification  :  A. i. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Please attach copies. ii. A minimum of Fifteen years of teaching or research experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. The period of time taken by availing leave from the duty under F.D.P. by candidates to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. Degree shall not be considered as teaching/ research experience.. iii. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology — mediated teaching learning process. iv. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Table No. II(B) of Appendix III of UGC 46 Amendment Regulations 2016. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.
