Job Description
Research Assistant Computer Science job opportunities in Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi
Essential Qualifications: An under-graduate or postgraduate degree in relevant disciplines including but not limited to Computer Science, Engineering or data sciences, computational social sciences. (1) Strong knowledge of a programming language (preferably Python).
(2) Experience in working with REST APIs (preferably Twitter’s data streaming or REST APIs). (3) Good understanding and working knowledge of data extraction, manipulation and plotting libraries or tools like, tweepy/twython, networkx, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, Tableau and Gephi etc.
(4) Understanding of research methods and strong analytical skills, ideally including ability to use R, STATA, MS-Excel Responsibilities Consult and work with Project Directors on quantitative research for
(1) Support the conduct of primary research, including field data collection (2) Analyse and synthesise research, and write leading to outputs like a written reports and academic paper (for peer-reviewed journal)
Duration 3 months (extendable upto 1 month).
Monthly Remunerations: Rs. 20,000 per month (fixed salary)
