Research Assistant Economics (Quantitative Marketing) recruitment in Indian Institute Of Management Ahmedabad
Project(s) Description: The primary project is based on analyzing large scale data sets,running simulations and estimate models.
Qualifications: Candidates with a Master’s/PhD in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research and Applied Mathematics are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and related disciplines, who are interested in PhD in Management and other applied domains, are also welcome.

Eligibility: Candidates must have advanced knowledge of R/STATA and should have a prior experience handling large-scale data sets. Applicants having prior experience with Python,Mathematica/MATLAB would be given preference.
Project Tenure: The initial appointment is for six months, with a possibility of extension up to one year, based on performance appraisal.
Selection Process: Selected applicants from the pool would be requested to submit a preliminary analysis of a curated data-set, along with the accompanying code (including estimation routines) to the Principal Investigator.
Compensation: Candidates are eligible for a monthly stipend anywhere between INR20,000- INR 30,000 based on the prior qualifications and strength of the candidature.
