Applications are invited for the purely temporary' post of Research Assistant (RA) in the ICSSR sponsored research project entitled "Sufism and Multiculturalism in India: It's impact on Contemporary Society"
1. Post Name: Research Assistant (RA)
2. Qualification- Ph D./ M.Phil./ Post Graduation in social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Proficiency in handling computers, working with MS-Office & Internet
3. Desirable: A candidate having Post Graduation in History with research experience on topics related to Sufism and Multiculturalism and having studied research methodology at the postgraduate level, would be preferred.
4. The RA will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month (Fixed) and he/she will be required to work lilll-time under Dr. Nasir Raza Khan, the Project Director, at the India-Arab Cultural Centre, JMI, New Delhi, as per Jamia rules.
5. The appointment will be made purely on temporary basis under the ICSSR project, for maximum period of 12 months. Initial appointment will be for three months which will further be renewed/extended after every 3 months subject to satisfactory performance of the RA.
