Applications are invited through email for the post of Research Associate-1 (RA-1)underthe CSIR sponsored project entitled "Programming Macromolecular Assembly by Directional Dipole-dipole Interaction" (grant No. 02(0360)/19/EMR-II) in the group of Dr. Anindita Das, School of Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences at IACS by 03.03.20. 

RA-1/ Number of Post: One

Eligibility criteria: PhD in Science

Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis and degree is awaiting will also be considered for selection. However, in such case if a candidate is selected, SRF fellowship will be provided until PhD degree is produced.

Desired Qualification: A candidate should have a first class or a high second-class in B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree (major in Chemical Sciences) with minimum average marks of 55%. A candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in field of Organic/Supramolecular/Polymer Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute with overall good academic record and impressive publication list. Expertise in polymer chemistry, supramolecular materials and their photophysics, biomaterials, crystal structure analysis will be preferred.

Fellowship: As per CSIR rule

Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of application.Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. Rule 

The position is purely on temporary basis and the candidate will not have any right to claim (explicit or implicit) to any post in the Institute.
